Why a Haunted Honeymoon?

Before we were married, my wife and I were searching for a place to go on our honeymoon, but could not come up with any place we really wanted to go. Nothing we considered sparked any real interest until we came up with the idea of staying at hotels that were reputed to be haunted. It was perfect. Although I am skeptical of the supernatural and my wife is a firm believer, it seemed like a fun way to “theme” the honeymoon. We then decided to make a webpage to share it with our friends, family, and anyone else interested in exploring haunted places. Take a look around and let us know what you think.

What is HauntedHoneymoon.com?

A site that offers reviews of places that are supposedly haunted. Not only do we review the place itself but the quality of the ghost stories surrounding a place.  We collect ghost stories from the internet and from people and employees connected to the places that we visit and compile them for others to enjoy.

It is a place for us to share our experiences and reviews of haunted places that we have visited. We have visited over 50 places reported to be haunted since we started our honeymoon, with more coming in the future. We try to stay at one haunted hotel or visit at least one haunted location on each vacation. We have organized our list of haunted places by year, by type of location (including hotels, tours, bed and breakfasts, etc.), by city, and by trip.

It is a place for us to share our wedding photographs and memories with friends and relatives that wish to remember the event, or were not able to come themselves and want to get a taste of what it was like.

It is a travelogue of our “Haunted Honeymoon”

We have no connection to the movie of the same name starring Gene Wilder and Gilda Radner.

Interested in our pictures of possible paranormal activity? Check out our Ghostly Photos? page.

What Haunted Honeymoon is not.

We do not offer tours, make travel arrangements, or have any official connection to any of the places included in any of our reviews.  We are simply a married couple that enjoys traveling, ghost-stores, and sharing those stories with others.
